The sky avenue
Visitors can now enjoy now the largest terrace in Paris on the rooftop of the Grande Arche. The Grande Arche has a 100-meter long footbridge stretching across it that provides beautiful views of all the major historical monuments of Paris, from the Louvre to the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. The Grande Arche also provides an excellent view over France’s largest open-air museum in the plaza of La Défense below. The exhibition space displays 69 monumental pieces, including Le Stabile by Calder and Le Pouce by César.
An exciting elevator ride with panoramic views
When visitors arrive at the Grande Arche, the first thing they see is the impressive, white marble stairs, which provide enough space for hundreds of people to relax outside in sunny weather.After climbing the stairs, visitors can enjoy a dramatic ride back down to the ground as they enjoy a unique panoramic view of Paris and beyond. When visitors then take a ride in the panoramic elevators of the Grande Arche, they are treated to breathtaking views right up until they reach the rooftop. The ride of over 100 meters up into the air is a spectacular experience they won’t forget! It is a dizzying climb amidst some of the world’s most impressive highrises designed by the greatest French and international architects.
